Enforcement of Summer Vacation Protocols in KPK

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP Elementary and Secondary Education Department has issued a firm directive to all educational institutions, mandating strict compliance with the official summer vacation policy. Amidst reports of certain private schools in KPK continuing academic activities despite the government-mandated holiday schedule, authorities have intervened to ensure the protection and well-being of the student body during current extreme weather conditions. This policy is essential for safeguarding students from heat-related health risks while adhering to the standardized academic calendar.

 

 

To ensure total adherence, the Private Schools Regulatory Authority PSRA has been mobilized alongside district administrations to enforce these orders. Educational institutions in Pakistan are prohibited from calling students for academic or co-curricular engagements beyond the cutoff date of June 30. The provincial government has empowered deputy commissioners and regulatory officials to conduct rigorous monitoring and site inspections of public and private schools. Institutions found operating in violation of these government regulations will face immediate disciplinary and legal action under the relevant provincial laws.
