EEF Announces 1000 Scholarships for Children

Education Employees Foundation EEF is pleased to announce the availability of 1000 scholarships, with 202 scholarships allocated for each academic class. These scholarships are exclusively for the children of employees in the Education Department, covering students from SSC to Degree Classes in government or privately recognized institutions. Eligibility and Merit Basis

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Employees Foundation grants scholarships annually to deserving students on a merit basis. The scholarships are awarded under the provisions of the Education Employee Foundation Act 2018 and its regulations. The foundation has set January 15, 2024, as the deadline for the submission of scholarship application forms.

Application Process

Education Employees can submit their scholarship application forms directly to the office or through proper channels, duly attested by the relevant authorities mentioned in the application form. The deadline for submission is January 15, 2024. Application forms can also be obtained via email or the EEF Facebook account.

Terms and Conditions

The EEF scholarships are open to children of Education Department employees, including retirees, enrolled in various academic levels. These levels include Class 10th Science & Arts, Intermediate Part-I and Part-II, and Degree Part-I and Part-II in fields such as B.A/B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, MBBS, and others. Merit scholarships are awarded based on academic performance in previous levels.

Scholarship Disbursement Process

After the declaration of public exams at different levels, scholarship award advertisements will be published in leading newspapers and notified by relevant education authorities. The awardees list will be published by the Foundation and circulated to all concerned offices and institutions. Scholarship cheques will be dispatched to the heads of institutions for proper disbursement to the students, with receipts to be furnished to the Foundation office.

Ensuring Fair Distribution

In case a student loses their scholarship for any reason, it will be awarded to the next eligible candidate on merit. Additionally, if the number of scholarship applications in any gender is insufficient to meet the required quota, the remaining slots will be allocated to the other gender within the same district.
