Educational Institutions Winter Vacations in Punjab

The government of Punjab has made the announcement regarding winter vacations in the public and private sector schools and these winter vacations will be started from 24 December 2018. The education department has issued the notification and it is stated that the educational institutes of the province shall remain closed from 24 December to 31 December. Now the Schools will reopen on 01st January.


The association of the private schools has also issued the notification for the winter vacations in Punjab. It shows that all of the affiliated schools shall remain close from 24 December to 31 December 2018. Now the schools are responsible to follow these instructions and the violation of the orders of the government can result in legal action against them. The winter vacations are extended in some parts of the country due to colder weather and smog issue and due to prevailing situation of smog, the winter vacations are extended as the smog can hazard their health.
