Educational Institutes to Keep Close after 01 June

Islamabad, The Inter Provincial Education Minister meeting was conducted and the Federal Minister for Education, Shafqat Mahmood chaired the meeting. In this meeting the governments of Punjab, Sindh and Baluchistan opposed the opening of the schools and colleges after 01 June 2020 and the KPK government favored to open the educational institutes. Consider to Keep Educational Institutes Close after 01 June.

All provincial ministers of education attended this meeting through video link. The provinces that opposed this suggestion to open the schools and colleges after 01 June, said that the Coronavirus can be spread so the educational institutes can be kept closed. However, the provincial minister of KPK favored the suggestion to open the schools and colleges so that the academic activities can be restored and the precious year of the students can be saved. As no decision has been made in the meeting of the provinces, it is decided to put this matter in the meeting of the National Coordination Committee.
