Educational Institutes in Sindh Close From 6 to 9 Feb Due to General Elections
The Education Department of Sindh has decided to declare holidays in the entire province from February 6 to 9. This decision applies to all educational institutions, including private and public schools, colleges, and universities. Additionally, February 5 has been declared a holiday in Sindh in observance of Kashmir Day.
The Education Department has submitted a summary to the Chief Minister House outlining the details of the vacation period. Once the summary is approved, an official notification regarding the holidays will be issued to the relevant educational institutions.
This decision has been made under the departments efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff. The holidays will provide an opportunity for educational institutions to conduct necessary maintenance and cleaning activities, as well as for students and teachers to rest and recharge.
The Education Department urges all educational institutions to adhere to the announced vacation dates and to resume regular activities once the holidays have concluded. The department also encourages students and their families to make the most of this time off by engaging in productive and enjoyable activities.
