Educational Institutes Delayed Exams Due to Coronavirus
Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training made the announcement on 23 November that the educational institutes including schools, colleges and tuition centers will be shut down in Pakistan from 26-11-2020 because the second wave to COVID-19 is spreading across the country. The students will attend their online classes till 24-12-2020 as the winter vacations will be followed from 25-12-2020 to 10-01-2021. Educational Institutes Delayed Exams Due to Coronavirus.
The minister also said that all types of exams except the professional exams scheduled in December have been postponed till 15-01-2021. Higher Education Commission announced the policy regarding Higher Education Institutes and all of the exams have been scheduled for December 2020 have been delayed. All types of the professional tests and entrance tests, MDCAT and recruitment tests will be held according to schedule.
Punjab University, UHS Lahore, University of Sindh Jamshoro, University of Karachi, AIOU and NUST have postponed their bachelors, masters and higher degree courses exams. the educational boards in Punjab postponed the practical exams of matric and inter classes. The elementary boards and HED Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also announced that the exams, which are going to be held during December, they are also postponed till further orders. Baluchistan government has also postponed the exams from class one to eight till 10-3-2020.
