Education Minister Announces To Digitize All Exam Board

The Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood has announced to digitize all exams board across the country. In this regard, the minister has ordered to National Information Technology Board NITB and Inter Board Committee Chairman IBCC to take initiatives to complete the procedure for the digitization of examinations for the convenience of the students.

NITB will now make the whole manual record digital and will form a central repository of the data of all examination board so that the online verification for the students could be easy and authentic.

On the other side, IBCC officials also told the minister that IBCC also plans to ensure the transparency and quick service delivery. All students are asked to deposit IBCC’s verification fee in more than 1,400 bank branches against the previous 280.

IBCC will also send and collect the applications for equivalence and certification of certificates at their door step in collaboration with a courier company. For the quality, QR codes will soon be started on equivalence certificates.
