Education Employees Foundation Announces 1,000 Scholarships for 2025

Education Employees Foundation EEF has announced the availability of 1,000 scholarships, with 202 scholarships allocated for each class level, starting from SSC to Degree classes. These scholarships are specifically for the children of Education Department employees, both in public and privately recognized institutions. The scholarships cover students enrolled in Matric, FA/F.Sc, Polytechnical Institutes, D.Com, and Degree programs. Eligibility for Scholarships in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Every year, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Employees Foundation provides scholarships to students in SSC, HSSC, and Bachelors classes based on merit. These scholarships are awarded to the children of Education Department employees in accordance with the Education Employees Foundation Act 2018 and its regulations. The deadline for submitting scholarship applications for this year has been set for January 15, 2025.

Application Process for EEF Scholarships

Eligible candidates must submit their application forms either directly to the foundations office or through the proper channels, as specified. The forms should be attested by relevant authorities and accompanied by the required documents. The submission deadline for all applications is January 15, 2025. Students can obtain application forms through email or the EEF’s official Facebook account.

Terms and Conditions for EEF Scholarships

Children of current and retired Education Department employees enrolled in government or private institutions across Pakistan at the following levels may apply:

Class 10 Science & Arts

Intermediate Part-I and II – FA/F.Sc, Polytechnic, D.Com, Home Economics, DBA, or equivalent

Degree Part-I and II – BA/B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, B.Tech, MBBS, BE, BCS, BIT, or any equivalent qualification

Merit-Based Scholarship Awards

The scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit. For Class 10, merit will be determined by results in Class 9. For Intermediate Part-I, the basis will be SSC results, and for Degree Part-I, it will be based on Intermediate Board of Education or Technical Education Board examinations.

Scholarship Notification and Disbursement

After public examination results are announced, advertisements for the scholarships will be published in leading newspapers. Additionally, the scholarship details will be circulated through education offices, including Directorates of Education and District Education Offices. Application forms will be distributed among schools and colleges, and will also be accessible via email.

Once the recipients are selected, the foundation will release the list of scholarship awardees to relevant institutions. The scholarship cheques will be sent to the heads of these institutions for distribution to the students, who must provide receipts to the foundation to confirm disbursement.
