ECAT 2026 Test Date Announced – UET Registration & Schedule Details
Engineering aspirants across Punjab have an important update to note as NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology Multan has officially uploaded the schedule for ECAT 2026. The entrance test will be conducted from Monday to Friday, March 30, 2026 to April 03, 2026, creating a clear timeline for students preparing for UET ECAT 2026 registration and upcoming engineering admissions 2026. With competition increasing every year, this announcement has brought clarity for candidates planning their academic future.
According to the shared details, the ECAT 2026 entrance test will be based on the Intermediate or equivalent level and will have a duration of 100 minutes. Students can choose from multiple subject combinations including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & English; Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science & English; Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science & English; and Biology, Physics, Chemistry & English. This flexible structure supports Pre-Engineering, ICS, and related streams applying for UET admissions 2026. It is important to remember that appearing in the test does not guarantee admission, as final selection will be strictly merit-based.
For ECAT online registration 2026, candidates must apply through admission.uet.edu.pk by Sunday, March 22, 2026. The entrance test fee is Rs. 3,000, payable through HBL or UBL via online banking, mobile apps, or branch services. Admit cards will be available on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 Evening, and the ECAT 2026 result will be announced on Friday, April 17, 2026. Test centers include Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Taxila, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, Narowal, and Gujrat. Candidates must bring a valid photo ID such as CNIC, B-Form, Passport, or NADRA-issued identification. The ECAT 2026 score will be valid for Fall 2026 admissions at UET Lahore, and the test token is non-refundable and non-transferable.
