Early Winter Vacations in KPK Schools Due to COVID-19

KPK government is going to contain the spreading of the second wave of Coronavirus in the country and they are considering to grant early winter vacations in the schools. The meeting of the provincial level was managed and the chief minister of the province chaired the meeting and the option of early winter vacation was discussed during the meeting. The participants of the meeting discussed the latest situation of the coronavirus all over the province and the preparation, arrangements and other emergency precautions were discussed during the meeting in order to contain this pandemic threat. As some cases of this pandemic were reported from different educational institutes and they were closed. During the meeting with the high ranking officials of the province, including Corps Commander Peshawar, Chief Secretary, IG Police, Provincial Minister and Special Assistant to CM, it was decided to grant early winter vacations to the students in all public and private schools and ensure the suitable arrangements including the precautionary measures in the educational institutes.
