Dubai Hamdan Scholarship Dh1.1 Billion 2026
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority KHDA has officially opened applications for the third cohort of the prestigious Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Program. With a massive budget of Dh1.1 billion, this initiative is designed to empower outstanding Emirati graduates by providing 100 fully funded scholarships annually. The program is a cornerstone of Dubai’s long-term vision, aligning with the D33 Economic Agenda and the Education 33 strategy to cultivate the next generation of national leaders.
Focus on Future-Ready Disciplines
The scholarship prioritizes Bachelor’s degrees in strategic, high-impact fields. Over the past two years, nearly 70% of recipients have secured placements in the world’s top 100 universities. Key areas of study include:
- Artificial Intelligence AI & Digital Technologies
- Computer Science & Advanced Engineering
- Medicine & Health Sciences
- Law, Social Sciences, & Global Finance
Eligibility and Application Process
To be eligible for the 2026-27 academic cycle, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be an Emirati student with a valid Dubai family book.
- Must have completed high school in the 2023-24, 2024-25, or 2025-26 academic years.
- Must hold a conditional or unconditional offer from a university approved by the program.
- Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship and must commit to full-time study abroad.
Applications are being accepted exclusively through the Emirati section of the Dubai Now app until the deadline of June 30, 2026. This digital-first approach ensures a streamlined process for Dubai’s high-achieving youth.
