Diploma and Certificate Classes Admissions at UHS Lahore
The University of Health Sciences Lahore has officially opened applications for its prestigious specialized programs in medical writing and editing. Programs Offered
The university is inviting applications for three distinct batches tailored for different levels of expertise:
- Diploma in Medical Writing & Journalism Dip-MWJ – Batch I.
- Certificate in Medical Editing CME – Batch VIII.
- Certificate in Medical Journalism for Editors CMJE – Batch IV.
Eligibility Criteria
To maintain academic rigor, UHS has set the following requirements for admissions 2026:
- CME & Dip-MWJ: Open to MBBS/BDS doctors or graduates in Allied Health Sciences, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, and Health Informatics.
- CMJE: Exclusively for candidates who have completed the six-month CME course and are active in editorial roles at medical journals.
- Preference: Candidates already serving as editors, reviewers, or board members with existing publications are preferred.
Admission Schedule
The timeline for the UHS Admissions 2026 session is as follows:
- Last Date to Apply: Wednesday, 18th March, 2026.
- Commencement of Sessions: Contact sessions for CME & CMJE begin in the 3rd week of April 2026.
Course Fee Structure
The following fees include examination charges and must be deposited at the start of the UHS Courses 2026:
- CME: Rs. 60,000/-.
- CMJE: Rs. 90,000/-.
- Dip-MWJ: Rs. 170,000/-.
- Admission Processing Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000/- is required for all applicants.
