DESE KPK School Timing Schedule in Govt Schools & Colleges

Directorate of Elementary & Secondary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar has issued the notification regarding the timings of the schools and colleges in the government sector. The students, teachers and parents should note the DESE KPK School Timing Schedule in Govt Schools & Colleges and these timings are issued for the observance / implementation across the province.

1. School Time KG-XII

The students and teachers will note the number of periods on the full working day in the primary, middle, high and higher secondary schools on all working days including Friday, as the number of periods are allocated less on Friday:

No of Periods allocated according to working days

Primary schools No of Period on full working day: 7

Middle/High/Higher Secondary Schools No of Periods on full working day: 8

Higher Secondary School Inter section No of Periods on full working day: 6

No of periods on Friday: 5

Duration of Period

Primary Schools: 35 minutes

Middle/High/Higher Secondary: 40 minutes

Primary school assembly: 15 minutes

Middle/High/Higher Secondary Assembly:10 minutes

Timings for other activities

Nazra Quran in all schools: 15 Minutes

Break in primary schools: 30 minutes

Break in middle/high/higher secondary schools: 20 minutes

Timetable of all classes during summer from 01-04-2024 to 30-09-2024

The students should note the daily timetable of their classes during the working days with all types of activities, which will be implemented in all types of schools and higher secondary schools.

For intermediate section

Assembly with moral lessons from 07:30 am to 07:40 am

Nazra Quran from 07:40 am to 07:55 am

1st Period from 07:55 am to 08:35 am

2nd period from 08:35 am to 09:15 am

3rd period from 09:15 am to 09:55 am

4th period from 09:55 am to 10:35 am

5th period from 10:35 am to 11:15 am

Break from 11:15 am to 11:35 am

6th Period from 11:35 am to 12:15 pm.

For Middle / High School section

Assembly with moral lessons from 07:30 am to 07:40 am

Nazra Quran from 07:40 am to 07:55 am

1st Period from 07:55 am to 08:35 am

2nd period from 08:35 am to 09:15 am

3rd period from 09:15 am to 09:55 am

4th period from 09:55 am to 10:35 am

5th period from 10:35 am to 11:15 am

Break from 11:15 am to 11:35 am

6th Period from 11:35 am to 12:15 pm

7th period from 12:15 pm to 12:55 pm

8th period from 12:00 pm to 01:35 pm

Timetable of all classes winter season from 01-10-2024 to 31-03-2025

The students will note the timetable of all classes including Middle/High School/ Higher Secondary Schools for the winter season from 01-10-2024 to 31-03-2025 for all types of activities including academic classes, break, assembly and Nazra Quran.
