DCTE Abbottabad Updated Curriculum for Quranic Education
Directorate of Curriculum and Teacher Education DCTE Abbottabad has implemented a revised curriculum for Quranic education under the KPK Supervision of Curriculum, Textbooks, and Maintenance of Standards of Education Act 2011. This curriculum covers the teaching of Nazra Quran for grades 1 to 5 and Mutala-e-Quran Hakeem for grades 6 to 12. Students, parents, and educators in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are advised to take note of this significant update. Textbook Development and NOC Requirement
In accordance with the revised syllabus, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board is tasked with developing and updating textbooks for Nazra Quran and Mutala Quran. Both public and private educational institutions are required to seek approval from DCTE before implementing these updated curricula in their teaching practices.
Alignment of Training Materials
DCTE has issued directives to the Directorate of Professional Development DPD KPK and other relevant partners to align their training manuals and instructional resources with the newly revised curriculum. These measures aim to ensure consistency and adherence to the updated standards of Quranic education across all educational institutions in the region.
