DC to Decide School and College Holidays in Sindh Amid Rainfal
Due to the ongoing rainfall in Sindh, the authority to declare holidays for schools and colleges has been delegated to the Deputy Commissioners.
The Sindh Education Department has issued a directive to all district Deputy Commissioners, granting them the responsibility to decide on school closures in response to the current weather conditions. According to this directive, Deputy Commissioners are empowered to independently determine whether schools should be closed due to the rain, after consulting with the Education Department.
This measure has been implemented in light of the widespread rainfall across Sindh, which has impacted normal school operations.
