Dalda Foundation Professional Scholarship Program 2024

The Dalda Foundation is offering its Professional Scholarship Program for 2024, aimed at supporting financially disadvantaged yet deserving students. The primary goal of Dalda Foundation Professional Scholarship Program 2024 is to assist students who are unable to continue their education due to financial constraints, enabling them to achieve their academic and professional aspirations. The scholarship will begin from the first year of Intermediate and continue until the final semester of the Bachelor’s/Undergraduate degree.

Special Focus on In-Demand Fields

Recognizing the future demand for certain fields of study, Dalda Foundation will give additional weightage to students seeking admission in those programs. Candidates interested in the scholarship can submit their applications online through the Dalda Foundation website. The deadline for submission has been extended to October 30, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for Dalda Scholarship 2024

To be eligible for the Dalda Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be permanent residents of Pakistan.

Must not be older than 19 years as of August 20, 2024.

Parents’ monthly income should not exceed Rs. 5,000/-.

The applicants home size should not be larger than 1080 sq. ft. Not applicable for rural areas.

O-Level students are also eligible to apply.

Students from any recognized board in Pakistan, including BISE Punjab, Karachi, or FBISE, can apply if they meet the following matriculation percentage requirements:

Required Percentage of Marks

Pre-Engineering: 80% or above

Pre-Medical: 80% or above

General Science: 80% or above

Commerce: 75% or above

ICS: 70% or above

Arts: 70% or above

Home Economics: 70% or above

DAE: 70% or above

Scholarship Continuation Plan

To maintain the scholarship throughout their academic journey, students must meet the following academic criteria:

First Year of Professional College: A minimum of 80% marks for Pre-Medical/Pre-Engineering, 75% for Commerce, and 70% for Home Economics in XII, with admission to a professional college.

Second Year of Professional College: Must pass the first year of the professional program.

Third Year of Professional College: Successful completion of the second year.

Fourth Year of Professional College: Completion of the third year of studies.

Fifth Year of Professional College: Must pass the fourth year of MBBS, BDS, D-Pharm, DPT, or DVM programs.

Selection Process for Dalda Scholarship

The selection process is merit-based and involves a written test followed by an interview conducted by the Dalda Foundation officials. Only the most qualified candidates will be awarded the scholarship.
