The College of Nursing PIMS Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences , G-8/3, Islamabad, invites applications from male and female registered nurses serving in government, semi-government, and private hospitals for admission to the One-Year Post Basic Specialized Nursing Diploma Programs for the Session 2026.
These programs are designed to provide advanced clinical training and enhance professional competence in specialized nursing fields.

PIMS Admissions Offered One-Year Post Basic Specialized Nursing Diploma Including:Anesthesia Nursing – 25 seats
Cardiac Care Unit Nursing – 25 seats
Critical Care Unit Nursing – 25 seats
Mental Health Nursing – 25 seats
Pediatrics Nursing – 25 seats
Peri-Operative Nursing – 25 seats
Trauma & Emergency Nursing – 50 seats

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
For Female Nurses
03-Year General Nursing Diploma
01-Year Midwifery Diploma
Valid Pakistan Nursing Council PNC Registration Card
For Male & Female Nurses
4-Year Generic BS Nursing Result-awaiting candidates are NOT eligible
Valid PNC Registration Card
Additional Requirements
NOC/Relieving Certificate from the parent institution mandatory.
Verified copies of:
General Nursing Diploma
Midwifery Diploma for females
BS Nursing Degree where applicable
PNC Registration Card
Incomplete documentation will result in rejection.

For Government Nurses
Applicants working in government departments must apply through their respective health departments for nomination/deputation.
