Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sargodha has announced that the practical exams for matric and intermediate students in 2026 will be conducted under a newly introduced system. This updated approach, approved by the Government of Punjab and PBCC, requires examiners to assess students based on specific rubrics during the practical exams. Students who demonstrate genuine effort and prepare their practical notebooks independently will be awarded marks accordingly. Updated Marking Criteria and Strict Monitoring Guidelines for Practical Exams
As part of reforms directed by the CM Task Force, all exams laboratories will be closely supervised to ensure transparency and fairness. Students are strongly advised to thoroughly prepare for their practical assessments. Previously, ready-made practical notebooks were commonly available in the market, which negatively affected students’ learning and academic standards. This practice has now been completely eliminated, and students must create their own practical notebooks. Failure to do so will result in no marks being awarded.
