BISE Bahawalpur Waives Exam Fees for Special Students
In a commendable step toward inclusivity and educational equity, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Bahawalpur has officially announced a complete fee waiver for special and disabled students appearing in upcoming Matric and Intermediate exams.
According to a press release from the Bahawalpur Board, the decision was finalized during a special meeting at the BISE Bahawalpur office, where senior officials gathered to address the concerns of disabled candidates. As a result, all examination-related fees have been fully waived for students with disabilities.
The following charges are now exempt for eligible students:
- Registration Fee
- Sports Fee
- Processing Fee
- Examination Fee
- Late Fee
- Certificate Fee
- Correction Fee
- Fee for Change of Subjects or Group
This move by BISE Bahawalpur aims to reduce the financial burden on families of special students and promote fair access to education across the board. Authorities have also urged institutions and parents to spread the word so that maximum candidates can benefit from this initiative.
Education advocates have praised the announcement, calling it a progressive and student-friendly policy that aligns with the government’s broader goals of inclusive education in Pakistan.
