Expanding its reach, the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program now encompasses higher secondary education, benefiting students from classes 6th to 12th with a quarterly education stipend. The recent approval from the Benazir Income Support Program Board includes the extension of the Wasila Education Program to cover intermediate first-year and second-year students. - Stipends for Classes 6th to 10th:
Students in these classes will now receive a quarterly education stipend.
- Approval for Intermediate Students:
The Wasila Education Program now includes first-year and second-year intermediate students.
- Stipend Amounts:
Boys in higher secondary/intermediate will receive Rs 3,500 per quarter, while girls will be granted Rs 4,000 per quarter. Matric students will also receive a quarterly stipend of PKR 3000.
