BEEF Scholarships 2024 Empowering Education Across 34 Districts

Balochistan Education Endowment Fund BEEF has recently unveiled a significant initiative by announcing 145,000 scholarships for students pursuing education from Matric to MS levels. These scholarships cover various educational stages, including Matric, DAE, Inter, BS, MBBS, MA, MSc, and MS classes. The candidates can get the latest updates of BEEF Scholarships 2024: Empowering Education Across 34 Districts.

Scholarship Categories:

BEEF is offering partially funded scholarships in several categories, such as Provincial Open Merit Scholarships POMS, District Open Merit Scholarships DOMS, Institutional Open Merit Scholarships IOMS, and Special Quota Open Merit scholarships.

District-wise Allocation:

To ensure equal opportunities, BEEF has allocated slots based on soft data collected from result gazettes of BBISE/FBISE. Each district, excluding Quetta, has 40 reserved slots, while Quetta has 70 slots due to its larger population. The total number of districts covered has increased from 32 to 34.

Subject/Program Allocation:

Similarly, 25 slots are reserved for each subject/discipline of BS/Professional degree programs. This strategic allocation aims to cater to diverse educational needs.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for BEEF Scholarships, students must have achieved a minimum of 60% marks or a 3.0 CGPA. Special Quota Scholarship applicants for Extremely Vulnerable Individuals should have a minimum of 45% marks or a 2.5 CGPA. Additionally, a minimum of 75% attendance is required.

Application Process:

BEEF has streamlined the application process with a single form for all categories. However, applicants must carefully follow the instructions provided on the form. Submission of incomplete forms or the provision of fake documents may lead to discontinuation of the scholarship and legal action.

Application Submission:

For Categories A and B DOMS and IOMS, scholarship applications must be submitted through the head of the institution by post. Application forms and instructions are provided to the heads of institutions/focal persons. The application form is also available on the BEEF website.

Required Documents:

Applicants need to submit various documents along with the application form, including attested copies of academic results, CNIC/B-form, guardians CNIC, local domicile, disability certificate if applicable, and relevant documents based on the specific category.
