Balochistan Coastal Regions HEC Undergraduate Scholarships 2023
Higher Education Commission has made the announcement regarding the provision of Undergraduate scholarships to the students of the Coastal Regions of Pakistan. The outstanding candidates, who live in the districts of Gwadar, Lasbela/ Hub, Kech Turbat and Awaran, can apply for this scholarships and they can pursue their undergraduate education in the HEC recognized public / private sector universities or degree awarding institutes. Under this project, the scholarships will be offered to the students in all areas of study / disciplines and the candidates can submit their application forms online by the final date of 29-05-2023.
Eligibility Criteria
• Applicants must have domicile / local certificate of Gwadar, Lasbela Hub, Kech or Awaran districts
• Candidates must have passed 12 years of education with minimum 50% marks in matric and inter classes or equivalent from school, college or institute, which is located in any of these districts of Baluchistan.
• The students, who are already enrolled in BS program before this advertisement, having at most of the one year or session, they may also apply.
• The maximum age limit is 22 years.
• The candidates will meet HEC and university criteria to get admission in BS program.
• The candidates, who are already availing any HEC or government scholarship, they will not be eligible to apply.
• The result-awaiting candidates will not be applicable.
The candidates will avail these scholarships on the merit and district quota basis and the short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of their aptitude test and academic credentials. The candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in the test, which is managed by HEC.
How to Apply
The candidates will submit their application forms online through HEC website and they do not send the hard copies of their application forms at this stage. The candidates will deposit the fee of Rs.500/- non-refundable as the application processing fee in HBL. HEC has the right to cancel or postpone the scholarship processing without assigning any reason.
