Apply Now CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2026 New Deadline
The Government of Punjab has officially extended the application deadline for the Chief Minister’s Laptop Scheme. This decision aims to provide more time for eligible students across the province to complete their registrations and secure their chance to receive high-specification laptops for their academic needs.
New Application Deadline
Initially set to expire sooner, the final date for submitting applications has now been moved to March 10, 2026. This extension follows requests from the student community and educational institutions to accommodate those who faced technical delays or were waiting for specific academic documents.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
The scheme targets high-achieving students currently enrolled in public sector universities, colleges, and technical institutes. To qualify for the merit-based distribution, students must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a high-performer in their respective degree programs Bachelors, Masters, or PhD.
- Must be enrolled in a government-recognized educational institution in Punjab.
- Students from selected federal universities and those residing in Punjab but studying in other regions may also apply under specific quotas.
Selection and Distribution Process
The selection process remains strictly merit-oriented. Data provided by the universities will be cross-referenced with the Higher Education Commission HEC and provincial databases. Once the new March 10 deadline passes, the government will begin the verification phase to finalize the merit lists.
How to Apply
Students must register through the official online portal designated for the Chief Minister’s Youth Initiative. Applicants are advised to ensure that their CNIC, enrollment year, and marks percentages are entered accurately to avoid rejection during the verification stage. No manual applications will be accepted at government offices.
