AIOU Free Matric Education To Students Of GB

The Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU, Islamabad has decided to provide free education for matric students of Gilgit Baltistan. The AIOU aims to promote literacy rate and ensure the education facilities in remote and backward areas of Gilgit Baltistan. The Open University is already imparting free education to the backward areas of Balochistan and merged tribal areas of KPK already.

According to an official announcement of the University, the students of Gilgit Baltistan will be able to get admission for free matric education from the announcement of admission for the spring semester 2021 from 15th January 2021. The AIOU also aims to provide free scholarship programs for the needy and talented students across the country.
