Admissions Open at KMU Institute of Health Sciences Islamabad

Khyber Medical University KMU, Institute of Health Sciences Islamabad, has officially invited applications from Pakistani and AJK nationals for the KMU-CATISB-2026 admissions cycle for the Fall 2026 semester. This is a significant opportunity for students seeking to excel in Allied Health Sciences, Nursing Sciences, Doctor of Physical Therapy DPT, and specialized technological fields.

Comprehensive Undergraduate Academic Programs

The Institute offers a diverse range of undergraduate healthcare programs designed to equip students with the expertise required for modern clinical practice. These include:

Admission Process and KMU-CATISB 2026

Prospective students must participate in the KMU-CATISB-2026 entry test. A non-refundable KMU CATISB admission processing fee of Rs. 3000 is required, payable via a bank challan generated post-registration. For transitional programs, applicants must possess an FSc Pre-Medical qualification alongside a relevant 2-year Associate Degree with a minimum 2.5 CGPA from an HEC-recognized institution.

KMU-CATISB 2026 Schedule

Candidates may select their preferred entry test date during the application process. The testing schedule is as follows:

1st Test: Registration deadline is July 13, 2026, with the test on July 19, 2026.

2nd Test: Registration deadline is August 21, 2026, with the test on September 5, 2026.

3rd Test: Registration deadline is September 28, 2026, with the test on October 4, 2026.

While the test is primarily conducted in Islamabad, additional centers may be established in other cities across Pakistan based on the availability of a reasonable number of candidates.
