Academic Year In Punjab Will Be Started On 1st August 2021
An intra provincial education ministers meeting held on the 26th February 2021. The ministers took major decision regarding the studies of the students and examinations schedule. The Punjab Education Minister, Murad Raas said after the meeting on his Twitter post that the COVID-19 outbreak affected the academic and schedule of Examinations. The minister announced that the school year will be started on 1st August 2021 and will be ended on 31st March 2021. The decision to extend the school year in the Punjab was taken to give relaxation to the students to complete their syllabus and prepare for the examinations properly. The concerned authorities have issued notification in this regard.
