A-Level and O-Level Exams to Continue Amid SCO Holidays in Islamabad

Islamabad Capital Territory ICT administration has announced that while the city prepares to host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization SCO meeting, all educational institutions in the Federal Capital will be closed, except for those conducting A-Level and O-Level examinations. The exams will proceed as planned despite the closures. The students can get fresh updates of A-Level and O-Level Exams to Continue Amid SCO Holidays in Islamabad.

Clarification from ICT Administration

Deputy Commissioner DC Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon, reassured students and parents that the A-Level and O-Level exams will not be impacted by the city-wide holiday. Exam centers in the Federal Capital will remain operational throughout the SCO event, ensuring that scheduled exams continue without interruption.

Examination Centers to Remain Open

According to DC Islamabad, three centers have been designated to hold the A-Level and O-Level exams. These are located in E-11, Noormahal G.T. Road, and H-8. These centers will function normally to accommodate students and maintain the exam schedule. While these specific centers will remain open, all other educational institutions across the city will be closed during the meeting.

False Reports of Other Closures Refuted

The district administration has dismissed rumors circulating about the closure of wedding halls, restaurants, and cafes during the SCO session. Officials have clarified that no such orders have been issued by the federal or local government, and these venues will continue to operate.

Traffic Plan for Event Areas

Although wedding halls and other venues will remain open, they are required to comply with a special traffic plan issued by local authorities. Roads near the SCO meeting venue will be temporarily closed, and traffic restrictions will be in place in specific areas during the event.
