In a significant move to promote educational equity, Sukkur IBA University, in collaboration with the Oil & Gas Development Company OGDCL, has launched the OGDC National Talent Hunt Program NTHP for the 2026 academic cycle. This flagship initiative is designed to discover and nurture talented students from underprivileged districts across Pakistan, providing them with a gateway to high-quality higher education. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for SIBAU Admissions 2025-2026 to benefit from this fully funded orientation and degree pathway.
Program Structure and Scholarship Benefits
The NTHP is structured into two distinct phases to ensure student success:
- Foundation Semester: 340 selected candidates will undergo a rigorous six-month foundation program covering English, Mathematics, and ICT.
- Undergraduate Sponsorship: The top 200 performers from the foundation semester will receive a fully funded scholarship for a four-year regular undergraduate degree at Sukkur IBA University.
- Coverage: The scholarship includes full tuition fees, state-of-the-art hostel accommodation, books, and a monthly stipend.
Core Degree Programs Offered
Upon successful completion of the foundation phase, students can enroll in various SIBAU Courses 2025-2026, including:
- BBA: Business Administration including Agri-Business.
- BS Programs: Computer Science AI specialization, Software Engineering, Media & Communication, and Mathematics.
- BE Programs: Electrical Electronics/Power, Energy Systems, and Computer Systems Engineering.
- Education: B.Ed Hons.
Eligibility Criteria
To maintain academic standards, the following requirements must be met:
- For BA/BS/B.Ed: Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate/FA/FSc with no supplementary exams.
- For Engineering: Minimum 60% marks in FSc Pre-Engineering.
- Regional Quota: Applicants must belong to the designated operational districts of OGDCL across Balochistan, KP, Punjab, Sindh, GB, and AJK.
Important Admission Schedule
- Application Deadline: February 15, 2026.
- Classes Commencement: Following the entrance test and interview process, the session is expected to align with the universitys regular academic calendar.
