The Punjab Boards Intermediate Part II results for 2025, released on 18 September, once again highlighted the academic dominance of private colleges across the province, along with the continued excellence of female students. Out of 335 top positions awarded by the nine Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISEs—including Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and Dera Ghazi Khan—private colleges secured 283 positions 84%, while government and semi-government institutions accounted for only 52 positions 16%. Punjab Group of Colleges Tops the List

Among the private institutions, Punjab Group of Colleges stood out by claiming 143 top positions, representing 51% of all private college achievements. This solid performance reinforces the group’s reputation for delivering high-quality intermediate education throughout Punjab.
