About Nishtar Medical University Multan
Nishtar Medical College Multan is the public sector colleges, which was established in 1951 with the aim to provide quality education to the students in the medical and dental programs. In September 2017, this medical college was upgraded to Nishtar Medical University Multan and it gives admissions to the students in MBBS and BDS programs. the postgraduate students can apply for admission in medical residency & fellowship program including Anesthesia, Urology, General Surgery, Pathology, Thoracic surgery, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Neurosurgery, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Community Medicine and General Medicine etc. first, this college was affiliated with University of the Punjab and after that it was affiliated with Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan in 1975. In January 2003, it was affiliated with University of Health Sciences Lahore and it is also recognized by PMDC Islamabad.
