About Indus Valley School Of Art And Architecture

Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture IVS, Karachi was established in 1990. Initially a group of professional architects felt the need of such an institute to deliver the training to architects and designers in Karachi in the disciplines of Fine Art, Design and Architecture.

Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture IVS is not-for-profit, non-commercial institution and is managed by an Executive Committee, through the office of the Executive Director. The Executive Committee and the Executive Director work with an independent Board of Governors that includes distinguished educationists, artists, architects, industrialists, bankers and media persons. In addition, the Government of Sindh nominates three members of the Board and the Governor of Sindh fulfils the role of the official patron of the School.

In 1994, IVS received a separate charter by the Government of Sindh to award its own degrees. The IVS is affiliated with Higher Education Commission HEC. Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture IVS, Karachi provides the following courses and programs through dedicated team of architects.
