Fazaia Inter College FIC PAF Base Kohat was established in 1960 and one of the oldest college founded by the network of schools and college by Pakistan Air Force PAF to educate the children of PAF personnel and civilians as well. Initially it was a modal school and was upgraded to middle school in 1960 and was given the status of high school in 1980. The high school was upgraded to inter college in 1984 and was renamed as Fazaia Inter College, PAF Base, Kohat. It is managed by Fazaia Directorate of Schools and Colleges. It provides quality education at an affordable cost for all segments of the society. It is co-education with separate sections of classes for boys and girls.

Air Force Inter College Kohat strives for the holistic development of students' personality in addition to meeting the defined curriculum requirements. Students have ample opportunities to exercise their creativity and ease by participating in co-curricular and extracurricular activities at the Air Force School / College, federal, provincial and national board levels.
