Medical & Dental Colleges in the region offer extensive training in medicine and dentistry, providing students with the opportunity to earn an MBBS or BDS degree after five and four years of study, respectively. Additionally, the School of Paramedics & Allied Health Professionals provides two years of training for various diplomas in healthcare specialties such as radiology, operation theater technology, medical laboratory, dental technology, and physiotherapy. All of these institutions are affiliated with the National University of Medical Sciences NUMS.

The Medical College was first inspected by the PM&DC in December 2016 and was recognized for 100 MBBS students in January 2017. Four batches of students have completed their education at the college, and its latest PM & DC inspection in July 2019 resulted in a B+ ranking, which reflects good performance. The Dental College, recognized in 2018, has enrolled two batches of students to date.

The School of Paramedics, affiliated with the Punjab Medical Faculty, was established in 2017 and currently offers courses in radiology and imaging technology, operation theater technology, medical laboratory, dental technology, and physiotherapy. Two successful batches of students have completed their studies in the program.

As per the PMC Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education Admissions, Curriculum and Conduct Regulations 2022-23, para 510, for admission to a private college, no discrimination will be made between a Pakistani, overseas Pakistani, or foreign student in terms of merit and criteria. This means that there is no specific quota for foreign students in private colleges, and they must compete on equal footing with local students. All individuals with valid citizenship in Pakistan, including those from AJK and Gilgit Baltistan, are eligible to apply for admission to HITEC-IMS Medical College through NUMS. The minimum passing percentage of the MDCAT for NUMS, which was held on October 16th, 2022, is 55% for admission to the MBBS program. Applicants must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent with a minimum of twelve years of education in at least three subjects: Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics or an equivalent certification from IBCC for foreign qualifications such as A-level/12th grade.
