UoK Chinese Language & Culture Admissions Fall 2026
The Confucius Institute at University of Karachi is pleased to announce its UoK Fall 2026 admissions for Chinese language and culture certificate courses. Target Audience and Eligibility
This program is ideal for students planning higher studies in China, business professionals engaged in China trade, job seekers pursuing employment in Chinese organizations, or individuals aiming for a career as Chinese language interpreters or teachers.
Basic Chinese HSK-I for Junior students is available for those aged 9 to 16 years.
Basic Chinese HSK-I for adult students requires an Intermediate certificate with at least a second division 45% marks.
Students interested in advanced HSK-2 to HSK-6 levels should contact the administration office located on the second floor of the Department of Commerce, University of Karachi.
Schedule, Fees, and Enrollment Details
Classes are offered with flexible timings: morning 9:00 am – 12:00 noon, afternoon 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, and weekend 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Fees are set at Rs. 9,000 per level for morning/afternoon classes, Rs. 12,000 per level for weekend classes, and Rs. 10,000 for junior weekend classes; all fees include the cost of teaching materials and books.
Interested candidates can obtain and submit application forms at the Habib Bank Limited HBL University Campus Branch from 29th June 2026 to 10th July 2026, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, upon payment of a non-refundable Rs. 500 fee. The list of selected candidates will be displayed on Friday, 17th July 2026, with fees to be deposited between 20th July 2026 and 24th July 2026. Formal classes will commence on Saturday, 1st August 2026.
