The private schools association has announced their decision to open the private schools all over Sindh by ignoring the breakdown from tomorrow. Sindh Private Schools Break Govt Lockdown.

The government of Sindh announced the lockdown in Sindh and closed the government and private schools, colleges and universities across Sindh due to coronavirus outbreak. The government announced the vacations in the educational institutes and the schools and colleges were closed and after that they extended the break until 31 May and they asked the educational institutes to treat as the summer vacations. The government has taken the step as the safety measures to keep the students secure from deadly virus.

The association has announced to defy the orders of Sindh government and put the health and lives of the students at risk. The chairman of the association claimed that they are unable to pay the salaries of the staff because of the long closure of schools. The private schools have over 16,000 schools, who did not get the salaries because of the lockdown. It is claimed that the private schools have paid the salaries of the teachers and other staff for the month of March but they did not have enough fund to pay the salaries to the staff for the month of April and onward. The chairman of the association said that the government has issued the directives to collect the tuition fees from the students for every month and they disregarded this directive and they will continue collecting the fee as it is continued in the past. The Directorate of Private Schools in Sindh issued the notification on 30 March to ask the private schools to collect the fee on the monthly basis. The government warned the schools to not terminate the staff during the COVID-19 outbreak lockdown.
