Shafqat Mahmood New Announcement Expected
Islamabad, It is expected that the Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood will announce to close down the schools, colleges and universities across the country. Due to consistently increasing number of Coronavirus pandemic cases in Pakistan, the users on social media demand the Federal Minister to close down the educational institutes. Shafqat Mahmood is social media top trend on Twitter and the users on social media request to close the offline classes and start the online classes to ensure safety of the students, teachers and admin staff. The social media users also have the claim that the vaccination of the small children is not carried out yet and the students sit close to each other in the classroom, which can be potential danger of the spreading of this pandemic. According to National Command and Operation Center, it has been decided to cooperate with Sindh government on the increasing number of corona cases in Sindh and federal government called on the meeting of the Inter Provincial Education and Health Ministers to discuss the grave situation of this pandemic. In the education sector, COVID-19 SOPs will be discussed and in the meeting of Health Ministers, the matters of COVID-19 Protocols in social and wedding events, indoor and outdoor dining and transport sector will be discussed.
