Schools Colleges Closing Extends to August

National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) recommended to close the schools and colleges till august after worsening the Coronavirus pandemic situation in the country. It is also expected that the COVID-19 will be on peak on 15 July and the threatening situation of this menace will not allow the government to open the educational institutions across the country. The Federal Minister for Planning said that the government will have to develop the long term and short term strategy for COVID-19 pandemic and the meeting will stress the requirements to review the communication strategy for having better communication and public outreach on this issue. NCOC discussed that prevailing situation of the disease and the coronavirus is becoming dangerous in the country as the number of patients is increasing and there is poor health system being developed by the previous governments and the death tool is also increasing, which is becoming alarming situation. It will be very risky and dangerous to open the schools and colleges on 15 July and the lives of millions of students put into risk as the social distancing is not possible in the big schools having large number of students.
