Punjab University Closes on 09 Nov as Allama Iqbal Day
Lahore, University of the Punjab has declared that it will be closed on November 9, 2023, in honor of Iqbal Day. The federal government officially designated this date as a gazette holiday last year, leading to the closure of government, semi-government, and private institutions and departments. On this day, no official work will be conducted. Students, teachers, and parents are advised that Punjab University will commemorate Iqbal Day on November 9, with no academic activities taking place and all university departments remaining closed for the observance. The students and academic staff will note that Punjab University Closes on 09 Nov as Allama Iqbal Day.
