Punjab Schools Not Open Before 15 August

Minister of Schools Education of Punjab said that the government schools across Punjab will not be opened before 15 August. The minister said further that their government is working on the preparation of the SOPs so that they make complete preparation before the opening of the schools. The provincial minister rejected the news and said that the federal government is seriously thinking over the reopening of the schools, which does not seem possible before 15 August because of the worsening condition of Coronavirus spreading in the whole country. The federal government asked the provincial governments to forward their suggestions regarding the reopening of the schools. The federal government is preparing plans to open the schools but the provinces are not interested in opening of the schools as the pandemic is still present in all cities and towns of the country. The increasing number of patients is creating the confusion among the parents of the students and they are not willing to send their children at this time but they may consider after sometime, when the pandemic will be in control.
