Punjab Schools Ban Entry of Unvaccinated Students
The Government of the Punjab had made the decision regarding the implementation of COVID-19 SOPs in the schools and the students, who are still unvaccinated, they will not be allowed to attend their regular classes in the schools. This restriction will cover the old age students, who should be vaccinated and these students will be barred from entering in school premises. The government made this decision after growing number of Corona infections in the schools as the provincial education minister announced. The government has reached to this conclusion that Punjab Unvaccinated Students Not Allowed in Schools.
The provincial education minister of Punjab opposed the closing of schools as the students have to face the academic losses and during the lock down period and on other occasions, the schools were closed and it told upon the educational standard of the students. he said that the students over 12 years of age will attend their classes with 50 percent attendance in case of their non vaccination. The government launched the campaign of the vaccination of the school teachers and 100 percent vaccination of the school teachers is done.
The vaccinated students of matric and inter classes will attend their classes but they will to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols and keep social distancing from others and use face masks during their classes.
