Punjab School Opening Orders issue to Heads & Teaching Staff

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued the orders to the heads and teaching staff of the schools, which are located in Punjab to open the schools two days in a week. The administrations of the schools will have to follow the notification regarding Punjab School Opening Orders issue to Heads & Teaching Staff and the schools will be opened two days in a week as this step is taken to control the spreading of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country. The schools will be opened for two days in a week and the admin offices and offices of the district education authorities will open the schools on Monday and Tuesday with skeleton staff and administration.

The schools will be opened to resolve the administrative, budgetary and ancillary matters to observe the following SOPs:

• School opening time will be from 10 am to 02 pm.
• Head teacher, class IV two employees, required two teachers and minister staff two persons are allowed.
• The staff, which will deal the matters with parents or visitors, they need to wear face mask.
• Mark social distancing circles at appropriate distance and social distancing will be ensured. Teachers and staff may be called in the office for pay with one class per day schedules.
• Ensure provision of soap and hand sanitizer
• Students are not allowed to visit the school for any purpose.
• Washroom and other areas of schools must be disinfected with chlorine solution daily.
