Punjab Government SSC & HSSC Promotion Policy 2020-2021




Lahore, The Governor of the Punjab has issued the directions to Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education to manage matric and inter class annual exams and declare their result for the years 2020 and 2021. After the spreading of the coronavirus across the country, the academic activities and the annual exams of all classes were not possible so the government cancelled all activities regarding education and exams. Now the candidates, who were going to appear in class 9 and 11 annual exams, they shall be allowed to appear in class 10 and 12 annual exams 2021 respectively. The marks of the promoted students of 9th and 10th classes shall be calculated as per their marks in previous class. The candidates should note Punjab Government SSC & HSSC Promotion Policy 2020-2021 and the candidates, who pass 10th class exams in 2019 and they were going to appear in SSC part 1 failed subjects in exams 2020, the marks obtained in SSC part 2 shall be awarded in relevant subjects for matric class part 1. The marks improvement cases in 9th class and additional subjects shall be dealt as their marks will be doubled in reverse order.

The candidates, who attended their Punjab Boards 10th class annual exams 2020, their papers will be checked and their marks will be calculated by checking their papers and their results will be declared accordingly.

The candidates, who passed their inter class part 1, they shall be awarded the similar marks in inter class part 2 as got in HSSC part 1. The candidates passed the FA/FSc part 1 annual exams but their failed as a whole in part 2 exams, they shall be awarded same marks as they obtained in the 11th class result.

The candidates, who passed their FA/FSc part 2 exams but they failed in various subjects in part 1 and they have to appear in exams 2020 as the compartment, they shall be awarded same marks as they obtained in theory of part 2. The students, who obtained the marks in practical exams previously, they will remain same.
