Punjab Announces Summer Vacations in Murree and Kotli Sattian Schools
The Punjab Education Department has officially declared summer vacations for all public and private educational institutions in Murree and Kotli Sattian to provide relief to students and teaching staff during the ongoing summer season.
According to an official notification, the holidays will begin on July 18, 2026, and continue until July 31, 2026. All schools in the two hill stations will remain closed during this period, while regular academic activities will resume on August 1, 2026.
The notification applies to both government and private schools operating in Murree and Kotli Sattian. Education authorities stated that the decision was taken considering the seasonal conditions and to ensure the well-being of students, teachers, and school staff.
Parents and students are advised to note the revised schedule and ensure their children return to school when classes restart on August 1. School administrations are also expected to make the necessary arrangements for the smooth resumption of academic activities after the vacation.
Students are encouraged to utilize the holiday period productively by revising their coursework and preparing for upcoming academic sessions.
