PU Lahore Closes Due to Smog and Health Issues
Lahore, University of the Punjab has made it clear that due to health and safety issues of the students, faculty and administrative staff and in pursuance of the instructions of Higher Education Department, Punjab, the administration of the Punjab University has made the decision to keep the university close till 24-11-2024. The university has adopted this measure to keep the university close till getting the environment better and ensure well-being of the students and staff. Online Teaching
The university is taking measures to transit all courses to an online format. The faculty staff is advised to use the online learning platforms to deliver their lectures and carry on their academic schedules. The students will take part in the online classes and if they need any support, they should reach out their faculty staff online.
Remote admin work
The admin and support offices of the university will operate their functions remotely. The staff members will carry out their official and admin duties from home and they will remain available during office hours. The university has announced that on campus exams of all classes are postponed and they will be rescheduled.
