Posts Vacant Due to of CSS Passing Ratio
Senate Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat took up the case that there are many positions in the civil services lying vacant. It is found that the passing rate in the CSS exams has been ped by 80% in the previous 27 years and now 231 vacancies are looking for the appropriate candidates to fill them. The candidates can get the detailed information of Posts Vacant Due to of CSS Passing Ratio.
Standing Committee found that over half of these vacancies are lying vacant in Sindh and Balochistan and these positions are vacant due to non-selection of the candidates from different groups, including minorities and women. The posts are vacant in Sindh are 67 in which 43 rural and 24 in urban areas, 63 in Baluchistan, 52 in Punjab, 23 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 18 in erstwhile FATA, 6 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 2 in Gilgit Baltistan.
Federal Public Service Commission has already start the process of Special CSS exams 2023 and FPSC informed the Committee that this special exam will help to fill the empty posts in all provinces and areas.
The secretary of the Cabinet Division remarked that the education quality of the country is declining and the success rate of CSS in 1995 was 10% and now it is ped to 2%. Standing Committee has issued the instructions to Cabinet and Establishment Division to present the report regarding special exams of the CSS within 15 days.
