PEC 27th EPE Fall 2026 Exam Admission

The Pakistan Engineering Council PEC has officially announced the PEC 27th Engineering Practice Exams Fall 2026 session, marking a pivotal opportunity for Registered Engineers to elevate their status to Professional Engineer. This high-stakes computer-based assessment is scheduled to take place simultaneously across multiple major cities on Sunday, November 8, 2026.
For thousands of Pakistani engineers, this announcement is a career-defining moment. Achieving the Professional Engineer title is not just an honorary milestone; it provides significant legal and professional privileges, including technical sanction authority and design certification capabilities. As the demand for internationally recognized engineering standards grows, securing this qualification is increasingly essential for those eyeing higher-level projects or global practice.
Understanding the PEC Exam Eligibility and Requirements
To participate in the PEC 27th EPE Fall 2026 course, candidates must meet specific regulatory standards defined by the PEC Act of 1976. Eligibility is restricted to Registered Engineers who have graduated on or after January 15, 2008. Furthermore, applicants are required to possess at least five years of practical engineering experience gained after their initial registration with the council.
A critical component of the application is the accumulation of 17 Continuing Professional Development points. The PEC mandates that these points be earned through a mix of work experience and other approved categories, with a specific cap of 10 points from job-related activities. Candidates who have attempted previous exams but did not qualify in a specific part are also eligible to register to clear their remaining modules.
Important Deadlines and Application Procedures
Prospective candidates must complete their PEC EPE 2026 registration before the final cutoff date of August 15, 2026. The entire process is facilitated through the official PEC CPD portal, where applicants can submit their details and track their status. It is crucial to note that the council only accepts fees via the system-generated Bank Alfalah vouchers; alternative payment methods will not be entertained.
The examination fee structure is set at Rs 5,000 plus applicable bank charges for both parts of the exam, while candidates appearing for a single part are required to pay Rs 2,500 plus charges. Given the technical nature of the computer-based exam, candidates are encouraged to review the official syllabus and study materials available on the councils website under the CPD section to ensure thorough preparation.
