MoU Signed Between IBCC & Peshawar Board for Educational Document Attestation

In a significant move to simplify the attestation process for students, the Inter Boards Coordination Commission IBCC has been working to link its attestation portal with the databases of various Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISEs across the country for direct record verification. As reported in an IBCC press release on Wednesday, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education FBISE, the Baluchistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BBISE, and several education boards in Punjab have already established this connection. The students can get the detailed information of MoU Signed between IBCC & Peshawar Board for Educational Document Attestation.

MoU Signing and Data Sharing Agreement

Recently, the IBCC and the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Peshawar signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU to facilitate data sharing. This agreement allows the IBCC to access BISE Peshawar data in a read-only format via APIs, making the attestation verification process more efficient. The MoU was signed by Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, Executive Director of IBCC, and Prof. Nasrullah Khan Yousufzai, Chairman of BISE Peshawar, with the presence of the Controller of BISE Peshawar, IBCC directors, and IT teams from both organizations.

Benefits for Students in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

This initiative will eliminate the need for students to physically visit BISE Peshawar for document verification, which previously required obtaining a sealed envelope for IBCC attestation. The new system will enable online verification, saving both time and money for students. Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah stated that this online service will significantly reduce travel costs, making the process much more convenient. Prof. Nasrullah Khan highlighted that BISE Peshawar will serve as a central resource for guiding other BISEs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in establishing connections with the IBCC attestation portal.

Feedback Mechanism and Future Developments

Prof. Nasrullah Khan and his team also presented a detailed overview of a new Feedback Mechanism created by the IT team at BISE Peshawar. This tool aims to assist authorities in making informed decisions and identifying areas for improvement. Dr. Mallah expressed his intention to share the advancements made by BISE Peshawar with other members of the IBCC forum, encouraging them to adopt similar systems in their boards. This initiative represents a significant step towards modernizing education services, allowing students to concentrate more on their academic and career aspirations.
