Kohat Board Matric Exams Cancelled due to Murder of Teachers
Kohat, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Kohat has cancelled their BISE Kohat SSC class annual exams 2023. It is reported that 8 teachers were killed in the district of Kurram in two different firing incidents. First incident was taken place in Upper Kurram, where unknown persons opened fire in the staff room of a school, resulting killing of seven teachers. Another incident of firing was taken place in Parachinar, where unknown persons opened fire on a moving vehicle and a teacher, Muhammad Sharif was killed. The police has registered these cases and they started looking for the unknown culprits.
Kohat Board showed deep sorrow over the tragic incidents of the killings of these innocent teachers and the board cancelled their coming matric class annual exams. The board has shown its grave concern over the precious lives of the teachers and asked for the safety and security of the teachers.
