KMC CIHS Nursing Training Courses 2026-27 Admissions

The City Institute of Health Sciences CIHS, in affiliation with the Sindh Board of Technical Education SBEB and registered with the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council PNMC, is now accepting applications for the 2026-27 academic cycle. We are proud to partner with the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation KMC to provide a transformative educational experience that includes a CIHS Nursing courses 100% scholarship opportunity based on a merit-driven screening test.

Diverse Clinical and Nursing Training Tracks

Our institute provides specialized training programs tailored to meet the evolving demands of the healthcare sector. Prospective students may apply for the following pathways:

Degree Programs: The 2-year Post RN BSN program requires a matriculation certificate, a 3-year General Nursing Diploma, a CIHS 1-year Diploma in Midwifery course or a post-basic specialty for male candidates, and a current PNMC license.

Diploma Programs:

The Certified Nursing Assistant 2-year program is open to applicants with an FSc Pre-Medical/Matric Science with 45% marks or a Matric Arts/FA with 50% marks.

The Lady Health Visitors LHV 2-year course is available to individuals aged 14 to 35 who hold an FSc Pre-Medical or Matric Science qualification with at least 45% marks.

The Community Midwife CMW 18-month diploma welcomes applicants aged 14 to 40 with a Matriculation Arts or Science degree and 40% marks.

Certificate Courses: We offer a 1-year Nurse Aid certificate for students aged 14 to 35 who have completed their Matriculation Arts or Science with 40% marks.

Advanced Post-Basic Specializations

For those seeking to refine their clinical expertise, we offer a 1-year Post Basic Specialty Diploma in either Accident and Emergency A&E Nursing or the Cardiac Care Unit CCU. Applicants for these advanced roles must hold current registration as a Nurse RN along with a valid PNC license.

Essential Admission Details

To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must successfully complete an STS-based examination. Please note that an application processing fee of Rs. 2,500 is required for all candidates.
