IUB Summer Vacation Guidelines 2026 for Teaching Faculty
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has officially released the summer vacation schedule for all teaching faculty members for the 2026 academic year. This directive, issued by the Directorate of Academics, IUB outlines the necessary procedures and expectations to ensure a smooth transition during the upcoming break.
Vacation Duration and Academic Responsibilities
The authorized summer break for the teaching staff is scheduled to commence on 6th July 2026 and will conclude on 31st August 2026. Prior to beginning their leave, all faculty members are strictly required to finalize any outstanding teaching assignments, grading tasks, or other essential academic duties. Ensuring the completion of these responsibilities is mandatory to maintain institutional standards and student support services before the commencement of the vacation period.
Operational Continuity and Duty Roster
To ensure uninterrupted IUB Bachelor admission process during the summer months, each Chairperson or Head of Department is tasked with nominating at least one faculty member, in addition to themselves, to remain on-duty. The Deans Office is responsible for coordinating these faculty duty rosters and must submit the finalized list to the Office of the Registrar and the Office of the Treasurer by 20th July 2026. This structured approach guarantees that vital administrative functions continue seamlessly throughout the summer.
